Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to fighting cancer by working to implement the missions and programs of the American Cancer Society. While receiving the support and guidance from our Merced and Modesto Society offices, we strive to give students the opportunity to bring the fight against cancer to our campus and community. Among more than 450 chapters and counting nationwide, our UC Merced chapter manifests to the Merced community that college students care about cancer's effect on lives and want to make an impact by fighting back. We achieve this through four strategic directions:
1. Advocacy
2. Cancer Education
3. Survivorship
4. Relay For Life
All Team Leaders and Team Members in our chapter make up the Team, and, together we work to achieve our four strategic directions, with limits being only the boundaries of our imagination. What CAC becomes is what we make of it!
